What's on offer?
You may use the Univision 'Group' section to create your own web pages, message board, forum, blog, message board and instant chat; all for free!
Creating your own Group will give your community an online meeting place where you can discuss your topic of interest and post meetings or events. You are able to swap information and upload files for your members to download. Photos and even short videos can be placed in your Group for your members to view. In short, the possibilities are endless!
Why does Univision Computers offer this service for free?
Advertising. Plain and simple. We are a local company priding ourselves in service, we refuse to be drawn into tacky price wars that drive down quality, service and courtesy. Modern day advertising revolves around how cheaply a product, or service, can be sold...and then 'upsell' the original offer once the customer has commited. We prefer to keep our good name and therefore rely heavily on word-of-mouth advertising. Our hope is we can keep our name in peoples minds by offering our resources to the general public. Think of it as our shop front.
We could spend money on flyers and newspaper ads to increase our exposure in the local area; or we could help the community, make friends along the way and let our name spread by doing good instead.
We encourage you to keep looking for the hidden catch, or call us to ask directly how much this will end up costing you. You won't find a catch, and we will tell you the price...$0
Are there any rules?
Of course! We may well change or add rules as circumstances dictate, but we hope to keep them few and simple.
- Anyone may see your Group, but to make any sort of contribution they must register. This ensures an individual can be held accountable for any wrong doing.
- No illegal activity of any kind! The above rule will be made available to any authority requesting access.
- No anti-social Groups. This includes, but not confined to: racism, fanatical religious groups, fanatical political groups, sexually orientated material or discussions.
- No copyrighted material to be posted unless you have express permission from the copyright holder.
